Hawaii Schedule: March 2-14, 2023

Thank you for the privilege of testing in Hawaii once again.  A big mahalo goes out to our host family – George and Beth Romano!  We depend on host families for our proctors in order to keep the costs of testing to a minimum.  Without them, it would not be possible to make these trips. If you are interested in being a host please let me know.

So far we have tested on the Big Island and on Oahu, but are open to testing on any of the islands. We just need a host family in place, at least 7 students to test, and a place to test.  Email me ASAP if you would like us to come to your island so that we can get it on the schedule!

Registrations will be done through Sarah, not the host family. You can fill out your registration information online or you can download the registration form and mail it to Sarah along with your check payable to Sarah Olbris to the address on the letterhead.  We make registration available online because we have experienced the Hawaiian/US Post Office letter loss and don’t want that to happen with your registrations! Be sure to put in the comments if you want to test on the leeward side (Waianae) or windward side (Kailua) of the island.  If you would like to register via snail mail and pay by check, send registration forms and checks payable to Sarah Olbris to the address on the registration form letterhead.  After your registration and payment have been received, you will be contacted about confirming a time, date, and place for your child’s testing.

We cannot schedule any tests without a deposit, so we recommend using the online option and PayPal if at all possible.  Also, if you want to pay by credit card, this can be done through PayPal without having a PayPal account.

If you change your appointment after you have received confirmation, there will be a rescheduling fee of $30 per person. The $30 non-refundable deposit must be received to schedule a test, and there is a $40 fee for rescheduling the appointment.

We are available to do individual tests on any island.  On Oahu the test stie is in Ewa Beach.  A limited number of testing slots are available, so I encourage you to reserve your testing appointments as soon as possible.  Renee and I will be testing this year. Renee has tested with me for many years and I have trusted her with my own children. (And she’s a lot more fun than I am!!)  A $40.00 late fee will be added to the total cost of testing if your deposit is not postmarked 2 weeks before your test date.

Individual Tests

Note – We allocate 1 hour for the WRAT and 2 hours for the WJ, AAB, and evaluations.  If your child needs additional time to complete the test, we need to know in advance for scheduling purposes and we will charge $50 per additional hour of testing.

Just a reminder – Parents, you are responsible to send in your children’s test scores to the appropriate school system.  I will not send test scores to anyone but you.
